Your story,told beautifully.
A real wedding. Real moments. Nothing staged.
Shot on film. Crafted with intention.
Most couples don't think about this until the wedding day.
Most couples hire their photographer and videographer separately — two strangers meeting for the first time on your wedding day, with competing timelines and no shared plan.
We're different. One unified team that plans together, moves together, and tells your story together — from your morning prep to your last dance.
Natural. Timeless. Understated.
A Calm Wedding Morning
We arrive early and keep the environment relaxed. Instead of directing constantly, we guide gently so you can enjoy getting ready without feeling rushed.
Effortless Portraits
Because photo and film work together, portraits happen once — not twice. You spend more time celebrating, less time posing.
A Reception You Experience
We coordinate coverage so you're not pulled away repeatedly through the night. Moments are anticipated — not recreated.
Planning & Communication
Before the wedding we help with timeline, lighting, and family photos so the day flows smoothly.
This is what your wedding could feel like.
Not staged. Not rushed. Just the day as it actually happened — the people, the emotion, and the quiet moments you didn't know were being captured.

It didn't feel like a video of our wedding — it felt like being there again. I sobbed the entire first watch.
Taylor & Chris Rancho Bernardo Inn · San Diego
We didn't realize how much we'd treasure this until we watched it back with our families at Christmas. Everyone cried.
Marcus & Diana Hartley Botanica · Ventura
Nothing felt staged. We honestly forgot the camera was even there. The moments they caught — I still can't believe it.

How to choose a wedding photography & videography company.
There's no shortage of talented photographers and videographers in California. The real question is which team is right for your specific day, venue, and vision. Here's what actually matters — and what most couples wish they'd asked sooner.
1
Watch their actual work — not just the best moments reel
Every videographer has a highlight reel that looks incredible. What you want to see is a full wedding film from start to finish. Does the pacing hold? Does it feel like a real day or a polished commercial? At Adorn, every full film is available on our YouTube channel — not just the greatest hits.
2
Ask if photo and video are the same team or separate vendors
Most couples don't realize they've hired two separate companies until the wedding day — when the photographer and videographer meet for the first time and have to negotiate who stands where. A unified team shares a plan, shares a timeline, and tells a single cohesive story. That's the only way we work.
3
Understand the difference between editorial and traditional styles
Traditional wedding photography tends to be more directed — the couple is posed, the photos are formal. An editorial, documentary style means the team is observing and capturing rather than choreographing. Neither is wrong, but they feel very different in the final product. Our work is documentary-first, with editorial instincts. We guide, we don't direct.
4
Get transparent pricing before the first call
A company that hides pricing until after a consultation is trying to qualify you before you qualify them. You deserve to know the range upfront so you can make an honest decision about fit. Our packages start at $3,800 and are fully modular — we share that clearly because a good client relationship starts with honesty, not pressure.
5
Ask specifically who will be on-site on the wedding day
Some studios book your date, then assign a secondary shooter you've never met. Ask: will the person I'm talking to today be the person at my wedding? At Adorn, the lead you communicate with plans your day and is there on the day.
6
Check reviews for how the experience felt — not just the outcome
A beautiful gallery doesn't tell you whether the photographer was calm under pressure, whether they helped keep the timeline on track, or whether the couple felt comfortable. Look for reviews that describe the experience of the day, not just the deliverables. Couples who feel safe relax. Couples who relax photograph beautifully.
Everything you need to know.
Real answers to the questions couples ask most — before booking, during planning, and about what to expect from a California wedding photography and videography team.
-
Wedding videography in California typically ranges from $2,500 on the low end to $10,000+ for full-day cinematic coverage. At Adorn, our videography-only packages start at $3,800 and our combined photo and video packages start at $3,800 for essential coverage, with most couples investing between $4,500 and $7,500. We don't charge travel fees anywhere in California for 2026–27 bookings.
-
Almost always, yes — and it's not just about cost. When you book a unified photo and video team, the planning happens once, the timeline is shared, and portraits don't have to happen twice. You save money and you save hours on your wedding day. Our combined collections are structured to reflect that efficiency, which is why most of our couples book photo and video together.
-
Absolutely. Every wedding is unique, and we tailor each collection around what matters most to you — whether that's more coverage hours, specific moments like a getting-ready film or a video guest book, or a certain style of storytelling. Think of our packages as a starting point, not a fixed menu.
-
For California weddings, 12–18 months in advance is the sweet spot for popular venues and peak dates (May–October, and holiday weekends year-round). We're currently booking 2026 and 2027 — dates are going quickly for spring and fall. If your date is less than 6 months away, reach out anyway. We occasionally have openings and are happy to let you know what's available.
-
The most important questions: Will the same person I'm speaking with be at my wedding — or does the studio assign secondary shooters? Can I see a full wedding film, not just a highlight reel? Do you shoot documentary-style or do you direct a lot? How do you handle low light or indoor ceremonies? What happens if there's a technical issue on the day? What's included in editing — music, color grading, chapter cuts? How long is the turnaround? These are the questions we love because they reflect exactly how we work — we have direct, honest answers to all of them.
-
A highlight film is typically 4–8 minutes — a cinematic, music-driven edit of the best moments from your day. A full wedding film captures the ceremony in real-time, speeches in full, and often the reception, creating a longer documentary record (often 30–90 minutes unedited). Our Essential and Legacy packages include a cinematic short film. The Heirloom collection adds a full ceremony film and separately edited speeches and toasts.
-
Documentary-first, always. We observe, anticipate, and capture — rather than creating moments that didn't naturally happen. During portraits, we guide gently (a little shift here, walking toward the light there) but we're never choreographing or over-posing. The result is a film and gallery that feels like your day, not a performance of it. If you've watched our films and felt like you could feel the day rather than just see it — that's the difference.
-
Our typical turnaround is 6–10 weeks depending on the season. Heirloom collection clients receive priority 4-week delivery. We also send a sneak peek within 1 week so you have something to relive while we finish the full edit.
-
Yes — we love this part. We'll ask for songs you love and build your film around that feeling, while also guiding you if needed to make sure everything flows beautifully and feels cinematic. We use licensed music so your film can be shared publicly without copyright issues.
-
Most couples receive anywhere from 400 to 900+ fully edited images that tell the complete story of the day, depending on your coverage hours and collection. Every photo is color-graded and delivered in high resolution — no watermarks, no limits on printing.
-
Everything is delivered through a Private Heirloom Gallery — a beautiful online gallery your family can access and order prints directly from. We also provide a shareable link, your full-resolution 4K film download, and a sneak peek link within the first week after your wedding.
-
Yes — we love destination weddings. We're based in California and frequently film weddings across Monterey, San Diego, the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and the Central Coast. No travel fees within California for 2026–27 bookings. For weddings outside California — Colorado, Utah, Hawaii, or international destinations — we're always open to the conversation and will quote travel transparently.
Three steps. Zero stress. One day you'll relive forever.
